Working group of pediatric post operative cardiac ICU

Back ground:

The idea of creating the group arose from the vision of the Egyptian cardiac surgery society leaders who find that it is high time to have conjoint collaborations with pediatric cardiologists and initiate a subdivision group for post operative pediatric cardiac ICU.

The initiation of such a group will offer the link between all national cardiovascular centers in order to improve the care of the critically ill children  throughout  Egypt, as well as to disseminate knowledge and build on current research.

Mission

The mission of the group is educational as well as medical care to the critical children with charitable nature to maintain high standard of medical service in PPO-CICU.

Objective:

• Collaboration between pediatric PO CICUs  and encourage meetings to get national benchmarks.
• Promote educational programs and the dissemination of scientific information.
• To join the World Federation Of Pediatric Intensive And Critical Care Societies to exchange knowledge with international expertise and compare our results to international benchmarks for  center outcomes and to join their international projects.
